Before we headed to celebrate the Day of the Great Country of Convict Descent we stopped by the Ara Güller exhibition in the Willy-Brandt Haus in Kreuzberg.
Although full it was (and still is until the second of February) a very pleasant exhibition showcasing 50 years of Ara Gülers work in and around Istanbul.
I can only recommend the exhibition so I recommend to go there before it closes on Feb 2nd 2015. Ara Gülers reportage/street photography is very well executed and gives an interesting insight into the Istanbul street life of the last 50 years.
