What I’ve been up to.

My pace got slower. Barely two posts in two months.

It is not that I was lying on the couch, watching cats and petting netflix. Quite the opposite.

Yo mami at Umami

We live in busy times. I am working more and more every day, we started (de)constructing the house, and even the Aussies are busy building floors and drilling holes in walls. A good reason to leave our own kitchen cold and grab some delicious food somewhere else.

Suddenly a house

Over the last year Doro’s mother was looking for a house to invest her money in before the banks ultimately go bankrupt. We were involved in the search because Doro will be the rightful heir to the throne house and we wanted to have a house that is not janz weit draußen, like Falkensee or Spandau.

Music Sunday

Songs that I think are not played as often or as loud as they should be.

Humble Marubi Ramen

Last Friday we enjoyed by the Korean Street food at Platoon Kunsthalle, this Friday Doro led me to one of her favourite lunch places next to her work — Marubi Ramen.

My take at Bibimbap

We had some very good Korean food on Friday. On Saturday we had to give it a try ourselves. Sunday I have to tell you about it.

What are the Pods?

I recently discovered podcasts. I feel like I am way too far behind on this. Podcasts were a thing in the 2000s, no we have the tenners and they are halfway over. I don’t even have an iPod.

A spicy note of Korea – Pojangmacha Korean Street Food Friday in Berlin

Friday. What better thing is there to do than to try out some new food on a Friday night, after  a week of work and canteen lunch? Doro directed my attention towards Pojangmacha, the Korean Street Food Friday in the Platoon Kunsthalle in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg.  She wanted to go there with her work people and I used the opportunity to get some bibimbap in my face.

Ara Güler in Berlin

Before we headed to celebrate the Day of the Great Country of Convict Descent we stopped by the Ara Güller exhibition in the Willy-Brandt Haus in Kreuzberg.
